The Inn at Whitewell
Little has changed the rural beauty of this valley since the 1300’s when the Inn at Whitewell was first built. The Inn sits high on the banks of the River Hodder in the heart of the Ribble Valley, where it is hoped it will remain, with access to 7 miles of trout, sea trout and salmon fishing. Being a dog friendly Inn, there are many good walks you can do, reception can provide you with a complimentary walking guide.

All our bedrooms are very different. We use great fabrics, lovely old furniture and the best prints and pictures we can.
Food & Drink
The Inn deservedly has a good reputation and many awards for its food. Head Chef Jamie Cadman, now in his twenty ninth year.
Weddings
Our wedding offering is for total exclusivity, you will have the whole Inn both inside and outside, and its 25 bedrooms together with tailor-made menus and wine lists. As such we are able to offer a truly bespoke and magical day and night.

Calfs Head
Nestled at the foot of Pendle Hill in the conservation village of Worston, seemingly far away from the hustle and bustle but In reality only a quarter of a mile from the A59 is our picturesque country inn at the heart of the village. The Inn boasts stunning views of Pendle Hill and when weather allows, the opportunity to dine and drink in the large gardens or on the decking overlooking the babbling stream. Inside there is a cosy snug with a roaring log fire or diners can choose the glass house with picturesque views of the surrounding countryside and Pendle Hill.

The Out Barn at Clough Bottom
The Out Barn at Clough Bottom is a unique, exclusive, away from it all location ideal for hosting Private Functions, Events and Conferences.
The Out Barn is family owned and run. It is part of Clough Bottom Farm and is available 50 weeks of the year for celebrations. The Out Barn has its original roots in the 17th Century as a traditionally stone built barn. It has now been lovingly restored and developed to incorporate an elliptical shaped function room, contemporary in design. The cedar clad oval extension provides a light and airy space to hold your celebration. The design of the room maximises the use of space and comfort. Large oak bi-fold doors provide an outside-in feel (a great place from where to view the wildlife in their natural habitat.) On a long summer day, you may wish to open the doors to provide a seamless transition to nature and the farmland.
In addition to the function room, there is the smaller dining room in the original stone built barn. This room is furnished with large pine tables and benches which, can comfortably seat between 40-50 people. This room is often used as a relaxation, quieter room to the main celebration. This room is also ideal for smaller intimate weddings and celebrations or for rehearsal get together’s the night before your wedding.
